What happens to my luggage on hiking, cycling, and other adventure tours? Do I have to carry it, or is it transported each day?

During your tour, your luggage will be transported to your overnight accommodation each night.

Dana to Petra Trek
For the Dana to Petra Trek, your main luggage will be transported each night to the campsite via pickup trucks. You should then have a second bag or daypack for access during the day. More details are below:

1. Main bag
  1. Size: Medium - Large
  2. Purpose: This is your main bag for overnight use. It will hold the vast majority of your luggage and you will have access to it at least at your nighttime accommodation.
  3. For hiking tours, ideally, this is a duffle bag or backpack - easy to carry and stack. If you only have a suitcase, that is ok too.
2. Daybag/Daypack
  1. Size: Small-Medium (20-30 Liters)
  2. Purpose: For use during the day. Good for carrying water, sunscreen, snacks, and anything else you may like to keep with you.
Other Multi-Day Adventures
For other Multi-Day Adventures, your luggage will generally be transported to your overnight accommodation by the same tour vehicle - car, van, or bus depending on group size. So likewise, during the day you will want to keep a smaller bag to access what you need.

Sightseeing
On sightseeing tours and on sightseeing days of adventure tours, your bags will stay in the vehicle with you if you are changing hotels/accommodation that night, or you can keep your main luggage in the hotel/accomodation if you are remaining in the same place that night.
